Mission and Objectives
E-Response Group of Companies
E-Response was conceived in 2003, by a group Oil & Gas Health, Safety and Environmental Management (HSE) practitioners, to provide specialised HSE Consultancy Services.We now have several incorporated companies within the e-Response group-of-companies, and we’ve expanded our scope to providing also Consultancy, Training, and Auditing in the areas of not only HSE, but also in Risk Management, Emergency Response and Crisis Management and Fire Safety.
We prepare, facilitate and run a number of Emergency Response drills and Crisis Management training, throughout the region. Our client’s includes multinational Petrochemical clients, the likes of Shell, BP, to name a few.
E-Response also provides services to the automotive industry – in the area of Road Transport Safety Consultancy, Training and Audit, particularly for the Dangerous Goods industry.
We’ve now developed a number of Professional, Safety, and Defensive Driving Training packages for both Light and Heavy Vehicles. Our Advance Heavy Vehicle Driver Competency Programme™ (AHV-DCP) is Certified by the International Motoring Industry (IMI-Awards), UK; Endorsed by the Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia (CICM); and Recognised by the Government of Malaysia*
* The AHV-DCP training is classified as a SBL-Khas clasified training under the Malaysian Government’s Human Resource Development Funding (HRDF) allocation. The AHV-DCP training is pre-approved and is claimable 100% directly from the Government.
Our Driver Safety Passport™(DSP) Booklet and the DSP Database & Programme is currently being used by Drivers within the Chemical Industry in Malaysia.
We have a team of dedicated highly trained mobile Road Rangers units stationed 24/7 all over Peninsula Malaysia to ensure the safety of our clients’ road operations (chemical and petroleum tankers). Our clients include a number of multinational companies in the Petrochemical industries.
E-Response is a member of the Chemical Industries Council (CICM) and is a signatory to the Responsible Care charter, in Malaysia. We are registered with the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia; authorised by PETRONAS (a licensed regulatory Oil & Gas Upstream company); and certified by the Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia (CIDB).
E-Response is currently undergoing an independent certification audit by SGS for ISO 9001: 2008 (UKAS), which we target to get by middle of 2014.
E-Response has signed an exclusive agreement with the National Chemical Emergency Centre (NCEC), UK, who is their principal in providing 24/7 Level 1 for the chemical industries in Malaysia.
E-Response is affiliated to Abbot Risk Consultant Ltd (ARC), in the UK. ARC are Risk Management and Fire Safety Consultant, specialising in the area of the upstream business, covering all oil & gas marine vessels (FPSO, FSO, Drilling Rigs/Barges, Derrick-Lay Barges, etc); and offshore platforms and operations.
E-Response is also going into affiliation with Singapore Salvage Engineering Pte Ltd (SSE), who specialises in subsea engineering and operations.
E-Response strengths are its people. We have a team of Consultants, Trainers, Auditors and Road Rangers, all of which are trained with many years of hands-on experience.

Know that if you do not manage the risk, it can wipe you clean of your profits, investments, and livelihood; and can even at worst, maim and kill you. If you still want to play this game then be ready to commit whole-heartedly, with visibility and passion; and be unforgiving of those in your team who do not, as they expose you and those with you. In this industry, you think safety is expensive, try accidents. For those few who truly understands this business and is ready to commit, the rewards are gratifying and bountiful. |
